General Information and Cultivation3: A medium-size, fast growing Aponogeton, easy to cultivate in submerse conditions. It is a true aquatic plant and will not grow out of water (the tuber doesn’t appear to require a resting period). It readily produces inflorescences when grown in an outside pond; the abundant seeds germinating readily. Aponogeton tofus is adaptable to water (soft to medium-hard) and substrate (slightly acid to near-neutral) conditions.
Propagation is easy by germinating the seeds and planting the resulting seedlings.
