General Information and Cultivation³: A small cormous, seasonally-dormant plant, easy to cultivate emerse under warm conditions. Propagates readily, forming small colonies by sending out stolons below the substrate surface. Tankquility cultured a plant submerse for around six months; a significant reduction was observed in the size of the corm over that period, though the plant appeared healthy otherwise (results are unclear as the last three months of growing were over the southern winter period). It’s unclear whether Typhonium flagelliforme will survive permanent submerse cultivation. Plant directly into moist or wet substrate. In terrarium and greenhouse culture, Typhonium flagelliforme grows to about 300mm in height.
