We grow, not resell
We go to great lengths to ensure that our plants are accurately identified and labelled. For this reason, we won’t buy in plants from elsewhere to on-sell. Often, we have spent years growing clonal lines to guarantee consistent quality and characteristics. It's laborious, but ensures you can have confidence in your purchase.
-
Ethical marketing
We are proud to say that the pictures used on our website and on social media are of plants we have grown in our nursery. We only take photos under natural “white” light to show the real colours and important features of a plant. This ensures that you see an accurate representation of colour and quality.
-
We sell authentic plants
The integrity of each plant in our collection is of the utmost importance to us. We often spend considerable effort determining or confirming identifications before offering plants for sale. If the status of a plant being offered is uncertain, Tankquility will ensure that you are aware of this before you buy.

No unwanted pests
Hobbyists tolerate aquatic snails, which can often become unsightly and near-impossible to eradicate. All our plants are guaranteed "snail-free" due to strict treatment and quarantine procedures. This allows Tankquility to offer a diverse range of "snail-free" plants, without the disadvantages of tissue culture.
Let customers speak for us
Anubias 'Panda'
Spectacular patterns of variegation reward the grower who maintains optimum conditions, making Anubias ‘Panda’ a showstopping centrepiece plant for aquarium, terrarium and paludarium.
Cryptocoryne noritoi
Relatively recently discovered by science (early 2000’s) and a very rare Cryptocoryne in the hobby. After three years of emerse growing, we are very happy to confirm its identification through inflorescence.
Tweeddalea roseospatha
On 3 September, 2024 the plant previously known as Schismatoglottis roseospatha was renamed by Wong and Boyce as Tweeddalea roseospatha. We have updated the product page for TQ-02231 to reflect this change.
